ArciGay Palermo is a non-profit organization who promotes LGBTIQ rights, working in the field of advocacy, sensitization, information, training and support to the LGBTIQ people and the local community.

The association is taking action for LGBTIQ people's empowerment and volunteering as tools for social inclusion and social change.

Since 2010, it has been providing the LGBTQI people and the local community with community building, counseling and psychological support, legal counseling, medical and health services (especially about Sexually transmitted diseases) and workshops against bullying in schools. In addition, it is leading a support service for LGBTQI migrants, refugees and asylum seeekers, called “La Migration”.

Since 2015, it is also involved in projects aiming at monitoring and mapping the HIV test opportunities and at moving the STIs prevention everywhere it is needed (discos, schools, streets, etc.) with a Camper.

ArciGay Palermo is working in the field of European projects since 2017 by joining or organizing mobility projects for youth and social workers and international seminars.
