What arouses strong emotions in us? How do we react?

Objectives:

Scenario

Duration: 45 minutes.

Before the exercise starts, draw two wheels of emotions by R.Plutchik on the ground using painting tape.

First introduce shortly the participants to the wheel of emotions : What it is, how it works, which basic emotions it represents, how it enables people to precise their emotion's intensity.

Give them then 7-10 minutes for individual reflection to answer the following 7 questions:

Divide the group in two groups of 14 people (1 per wheel).
Invite participants to answer to each question within 2 minutes with a different person each time (4 minutes per round).
Their position on the wheel will tell at the same time the emotion they are dealing with and the intensity of it. The more intense their emotion is, the closer they have to stand from the wheel's center ; the less intense their emotion is, the further they will stand from the wheel's center.
