====== Our view of our country's history ======


===== Objectives =====

  * To arouse curiosity about different cultures
  * To understand cultural differences (including in mononational groups)
  * To share your vision of the country’s history
  * To confront points of view

===== Scenario =====

Participants are asked to divide into mononational groups to choose two dates that they feel represent the best their country’s history.
Participants have 20 minutes to agree on the dates they want to present to the others.
Then each group presents and explains to the whole group the dates they have chosen.

===== Variations =====

The exercise can be proposed using different approaches, such as three milestones, an old date/a contemporary date, a taboo, a specific subject,...
The restitution can be made in different forms: sketches, frieze, drawing,...

===== Required material =====

  * Sheets and pens
  * Large sheets if  the restitution is a frieze or a drawing
